The Walter Pimpong Educational Foundation, (WAPEF) is a company limited by guarantee wholly-owned by International Needs Ghana (INGH) established in December 2016 to have oversight responsibility of the two INGH Model Schools (Amrahia Community School & Kpogede Community School) and other schools that will be established in future. The institution is named after the Very Rev’d Walter Aboagye Pimpong, the Founding Executive Director of International Needs Ghana.
WAPEF’s task is to develop the two schools and others that will later be established into world class educational institutions that offer Christ-centred quality education which come with economic returns to be ploughed back into INGH’s social interventions.
WAPEF is governed by a five-member board. Amrahia and Kpogede Community Schools have been identified as viable vehicles for INGH Social Enterprise initiatives.
