Community-Based Reading Clinics

Last week it was a training programme for Community Child Protection Committees (CCPC’s) to equip them with knowledge and skills to protect children as schools remain closed and to help them prepare to resume school in January 2021.
This week, International Needs Ghana (INGH) is climaxing six months of community reading clinics with spelling competitions in five communities. The reading clinics which started in July were geared towards sustaining pupils’ interest in reading while at home due to COVID-19. Over 1,000 participants have taken part in these community reading clinics.
