International Needs Ghana (INGH) is marking International Day of Education 2021 (Sunday, 24th)  with a Community Durbar at Kanuwloe, a farming community in the North Tongu District. This year’s celebration is focusing on the theme: “Recover and Revitalize Education for the COVID-19 Generation”

The durbar at Kanuwloe is geared towards whipping up community enthusiasm to support the drive to get every pupil of the Kanuwloe D/A Global Basic School to resume school after a long break due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

The school was established by INGH in 1998 and serves six surrounding communities. Prior to the establishment of the school, pupils had to travel for over 12 km to access education.
