International Needs Ghana (INGH) has organised a community wide sensitization programme on Gender Based Violence (GBV) to commemorate 16 days of activism against Gender Based Violence at Anfoega in the North Dayi District of the Volta Region.
The Volta Regional Director of the Department of Children, Mr. Israel Akrobetu facilitated a session on GBV and Child & Adolescent Protection. Participants committed themselves to work together to ensure children and adolescents are protected. Present were the chiefs and people of Anfoega.
The programme was held as part of activities for the Safe and Protective Environment for Adolescent Development (SPREAD) being implemented by INGH in partnership with UNICEF.
