Daisy\u2019s Journey of Hope and Purpose<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Daisy Atua Darko, a highly skilled Registered Nurse in the United Kingdom was enrolled into INCAP while at Amrahia Community School. Born into a family of six, Daisy grew up alongside her twin sister, Nancy. Their father, a devoted missionary, dedicated his life to serving others, while their mother managed the home. Though the family was rich in love and values, they often struggled to meet basic needs.<\/p>

The INCAP came in as a great source of sustenance and gave her hope to hold on to her dream. Proceeding to Methodist Girls Senior High School, Mamfe, Daisy excelled academically, and during these years, she discovered her passion for healthcare, which led her to pursue nursing. Daisy continued to the Nurses and Midwifery School in Tamale. Her educational journey was not easy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cThere were times when I wasn\u2019t sure how I would make it through,\u201d Daisy recalls. \u201cBut I always kept my goal in sight, and I had the belief that this was my calling. Your support made that belief stronger\u2014it gave me the chance to focus on my studies without worrying about how to pay for them.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cNursing is more than just a job\u2014it\u2019s a privilege to be able to care for others when they need it most,\u201d she says. \u201cI try to show my patients the same kindness and empathy that I received from others when I was struggling to build my own path.\u201d<\/p>

Daisy plans to return to Ghana to contribute to the healthcare system and provide training to young nurses to continue the cycle of support that once lifted her.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
