Belgian Queen interacts with traditional rulers in project areas.

Queen Mathilde of Belgium interacted with some traditional rulers of INGH’s child protection project communities in the Central Region, during her recent three-day visit to Ghana. The discussion with the Queen centred on the efforts of traditional rulers in ending child marriage and other child protection violations. At the meeting was the First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo and the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba.

Queen Mathilde is a United Nations Advocate for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's), and an ardent child rights advocate.
