Ama visited the office of International Needs Ghana recently to write a letter to her sponsor in the UK. She was bubbly and full of life, breathing without difficulty, and looking healthy. A few weeks from now, she will write her Basic Education Certificate Examination, which will give her access to Senior high school when she excels. She is intelligent and hopes to enroll in one of the best Senior High Schools in Ghana. She aspires to be a surgeon, to save the lives of children who have holes in their hearts like she did some years back.

Ama was born with a congenital heart disease which affected her general wellbeing; she couldn’t live a normal life and was as risk of losing her life if her condition remained. At age four, International Needs Ghana through her partners raised support for Ama’s surgery. Ama could have lost her life but today, she is full of life. Many lives have been touched in one way or the other through your partnership. We are so grateful to our cherished partners for always believing in us.
